Take Walks, Give Talks

Taking walks helps you
1. Be more creative
2. Stay Healthy
3. Be more productive
4. Communicate Better

How to give persuasive talks:
1. Be audience-centric
2. Understand your role (as mentor)
3. Wrap it in a story
“The speaker needs the audience more than the audience needs the speaker.”
"But my favorite piece of advice isn’t my own — it’s from a guy named Nick Morgan. He said, “What you need to do right before you walk on stage is think of someone that you love dearly.” Doing that, I felt the chemistry in my whole body change. My shoulders relaxed and my heart melted. That feeling of affection makes your body calm itself down. That’s a really great way to stop stage fright."

Secrets

I was temped to leave no words here in this post, as the video speaks for itself. But for secretary purposes, here's a TED talk by Frank Warren, founder of postsecret.com. Some secrets in his talk are chilling, others heartwarming... a wonderful talk all around.

"Secrets can take many forms -- they can be shocking, or silly, or soulful."
